To ensure that your online shop is legally compliant, you must specify your Terms and Conditions (T&C), your right of withdrawal and a privacy policy. You can find out how to set up these legal texts and where to find sample texts here.

1. In the menu, select Settings > Legal texts.
   Note: A new page is displayed, on which you can download the e-commerce law guidelines (PDF). This document contains information on legal basics and legally compliant sample texts.
2. To inform your customers of your business and contractual conditions, proceed as follows:
   1. In the Terms and Conditions area, enter the T&C text that is suitable for your type of company and country.
   2. Click Save.
3. To inform your customers of your right of withdrawal, proceed as follows:
   1. Click Right of withdrawal.
   2. Enter the right of withdrawal text that is suitable for your company and country.
   3. Click Save.
   Tip: You can specify that your right of withdrawal is automatically added to order status e-mails as a PDF file (see Attaching Right of Withdrawal to E-Mails Automatically).
4. To inform your customers of how personal user settings are used and saved, proceed as follows:
   1. Click Privacy policy.
   2. Enter the privacy policy text that is suitable for your company and country.
   3. Click Save.
