To communicate with the API, you must authenticate yourself with an API key. Create an API key as follows:

1. In the left menu, click Management > Users.
2. Select the desired user.
3. In the API section, click .
4. Click Yes.
5. Click Apply Changes.
6. Optional:
   • Assign an IP address to the API.
     Attention: If you assign an IP address to the API, then you can access the API only using this specified IP address.
7. In the API Key section, click Show.
